We’ve been out and about yesterday, canvassing opinion from local workers & residents on how they spend their lunchbreak and what Arnold Circus does and could offer them.
Again, lots of interesting comments and suggestions were made, and we’ll be posting details of what you told us here shortly. Until then, please do leave any comments you may have here with us.

You had comments that people wanted a volunteer gardening group. Friends of Arnold Circus already have one (I am Gardenimg Co-ordinator). We really need volunteers to help keep the gardens of Arnold Circus properly maintained. At the moment we have a professional gardener for only 3 1/2 hours per week (for which FOAC raises funds), + me and one other helper.It’s not enough to keep the gardens looking cared for.
LBTH contractors are supposed to come every day to keep the Circus litter-free, but don’t come often enough. They don’t deal with dog-fouling and dogs trampling flower beds which are among our main problems.
We desperately need a water source, as without one gardening is very difficult.
